BERKELEY – RADON TESTING
Radon is a hazardous gas that accounts for more cases of lung cancer than any cause besides tobacco. Radon accumulates in the bottom areas of homes from the ground and requires a specific radon test by National Radon Proficiency Board-certified inspectors like those employed by Environmental Inspection Services to measure properly.
Our Berkeley radon tests are no hassle to you. We will place and calibrate an electronic radon measurement device and collect the results after 48 to 72 hours. At that point we will either tell you that there is no radon risk, or that you have elevated radon levels, in which case we will lay out your options for eliminating the problem.
Environmental Inspection Services will send a radon inspector to deploy a radon monitor that will detect radon levels in your residence over the course of 2 to 3 days.
Environmental Inspection Services will lay out possible steps to take. Because also offering removal would create a conflict of interest, we do not solve high radon levels ourselves.
